As well as being a copywriter, I have been a professional proofreader since 1993. My major client was MCB University Press, now known as Emerald (www.emeraldinsight.com). I worked for them for 9 years until they stopped using out-of-house proofreaders. I also worked for other major academic publishers including Manchester University Press, Jessica Kingsley Publishers Ltd, and Taylor & Francis.

I have a double-honours degree in Classics (Latin and Greek) from the University of London and a Master's from the University of Bradford. I have taught classics and English in school up to A-level and have worked on translation projects in indigenous languages in West Africa.
Although I am from UK, I have equal experience in using US English. I will not change your British English into US or vice versa! Looking at my credentials, you can see that all your writing tasks are in a completely safe pair of hands!
