What is a ghost?     A ghost is a lost soul .... a Being you can't get hold of, and sometimes can't see. But you are aware of its effects.  A cold clammy touch on your neck....an icy blast...a wailing or moaning, or clanking chains....     In the writing field, a ghost is invisible.   But the signs of its activity are in the written products - the article, the e-book, the novel.     Some people don't believe in ghosts.  Others believe in them passionately.   The unbelievers spend a great deal of time trying to show that ghosts don't exist, but they can't quite prove it.  Likewise the believers spend a great deal of time and effort trying to demonstrate the existence of ghosts, but they can't prove it either.     If you have a piece of work ghost-written, nobody will know.
